Brand Campaign Featuring Tone Bell & Drew Afualo

Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum embarked on a drastic transformation that involved revamping the design and liquid of this iconic brand. To celebrate the brand's new identity, I worked in partnership with the brand and it's agency partners on record to create and launch the Captain Morgan "Battle of the Badtenders" campaign, with award-winning actor, host, and comedian Tone Bell and content creator, influencer, comedian, and podcaster Drew Afualo.

To mark Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum's bold redesign, AMBESA collaborated with the brand and agency partners to launch the "Battle of the Badtenders" campaign. Hosted by award-winning actor & comedian Tone Bell and influencer Drew Afualo, the campaign transformed everyday BADTENDERS into confident GOODTENDERS, showcasing Captain Morgan’s playful spirit.

Fans 25+ were called to action by submitting their best Captain cocktail creations on social media. Three finalists were flown to New York City to compete for the title of "Ultimate Badtender" and a $10,000 prize in a high-energy competition.

The campaign featured dynamic social media content directed by Jordan Riggs and written by Felton Brown, blending humor, creativity, and fun. To bring this lively celebration of originality and fun to life, AMBESA served as a culture strategist and production consultant for Captain Morgan as well as talent representative for Tone Bell.
